My length and my width shake me.
Something has happened.
I snap back like that rubber band.
And my eyes shine.
I stare into the dead air.
Astonished.
I take only the time I have
And I long for more.
"Where do we go from here?"
She asked the rustling leaves.
Into the sky, of course
And each step becomes stronger.
Don't trouble the past.
It is tired and must rest.
Then we fall forward, foolishly
Because we run so fast
As to not lose sight
Of that shooting star.
Where do we go?
We go from here.
We go together.
